Arrebujao Blanco 2022 12%

A superb value white from the latest addition to our import portfolio, Castuo Wines. We fell in love with the project in the west of Spain, Extremadura, where winemaker Fernando is producing natural wines from unusual grapes (many of which are actually Portuguese), crafting beautifully pure, delicious wines. 

A blend of four local varieties: Pardina, Eva, Arinto and Morisca, three of which are white and one is red. Spontaneously fermented separately in a variety of vessels (steel, amphora and concrete), the wine is then aged on fine lees for 6 months before being bottled with minimal additions. Lemon colour with gold notes, it has a fragrant nose of stone fruit and melon, with plenty of freshness on the palate and a long finish.

Pairing: great with fish and can stand up to meaty fishes such as hake.
